Terrodactyls are large winged pterosaurs capable of flight. They are usually portrayed as a pale blue or teal with tan bellies. Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai[edit]

Terrordactyls make various appearances throughout the series. In the manga and the original 1991 anime, there is a terrordactyl living on Dermline Island along with Dai and other friendly monsters. It helps Dai defeat the evil scorpion released on the island by the treacherous sage Varon.

Trivia[edit]

A pterodactyl strongly resembling it appears in Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball manga, where it kidnaps Bulma to eat her, but Goku saves the day and kills it.
