Yumiko Murakami
Yumiko Murakami (村上ゆみ子) is a freelance illustrator who has done work for the series in a variety of ways, from drawing 4koma manga to the cover images for guidebooks. Her first Dragon Quest project was providing the holographic illustrations for the covers of the two-volume guidebook for Dragon Quest VI.
Murakami has also done illustrations for other games, such as Square Enix's Sword of Mana and Nintendo's Animal Crossing, as well as a variety of educational work through the Benesse Elementary brand. She is the sister of fellow Dragon Quest 4koma artist Satomu Murakami.
