Shimmering Light is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series. It is one of the Baramonster's signature abilities, suffusing enemies in a mysterious light that can inflict confusion and make them more vulnerable to spells.
Appearances[edit]
Dragon Quest Monsters: Super Light[edit]
Shimmering Light can be learned by Baramonster at level 14 and costs 32 MP to use. It often lowers the Spell Res of all enemies by one level and has a chance to inflict confusion, as well.
Dragon Quest Tact[edit]
Shimmering Light can be learned by Baramonster at level 22 and costs 18 MP to use. It has a range of three squares in front of it and has a chance to confuse and lower the Spell Res of all enemies in a range of three squares horizontally for three turns. Upgrading the skill increases the success rate of both effects.
