Gloomy Exhale is a breath attack that appears exclusively in Dragon Quest Tact. It is one of the Dark Dragon Barbarus's signature abilities, spewing out an effusion of pure darkness to lay waste to a group of enemies.

Gloomy Exhale can be learned by Barbarus through Talent Blossoming and costs 98 MP to use. It has a range of three squares in front of him, inflicts moderate Zam-type breath damage to random enemies in a plus sign-shaped area of effect three times, and has a chance to lower their Zam Res for three turns, as well. Upgrading the skill increases its damage and reduces the amount of MP it costs to use.
