The Dragon slime is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series. Introduced in Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past, it is a stronger blue version of the Drake slime.
Characteristics[edit]
Like Drake slimes, Dragon slimes are Slimes that carry a few traits of dragons, namely a crest, wings, and a tail. They are blue in color.
They essentially possess the same traits as drake slimes, having some draconic qualities contained in a Slime form, but of a superior strength, such as being able to breathe harsher fire than Drake slimes can. As of X, the species has been given access to ice breath abilities to differentiate it from its pallet swap, which continued in XI where it lives in the frozen north of the game and exclusively uses cold attacks.
