The decelerate pellet is a projectile that allows a catapult-user to render the target as clumsy as a butterfingered lummox for a brief period.

Dragon Quest Treasures[edit]
There is no agility stat in Treasures due to it being a real-time action game, and thus decelerate pellets lower the deftness stat of the target instead. This means the shots drop the chance of an enemy scoring a critical hit or blocking an ally's attack outright, making them handy tools for players that enjoy gambling with high rewards.
The recipe for the ammo is sold at the Swoopswamp Station shop on The Wingswept Moors. Axel cannot sell this ammo as with the other debuff-types, but he can mass produce the decelerate pellet ten units at a time with three princely powder, three unfungi, and two yellow gems.
