Ting is a skill that appears exclusively in Dragon Quest Tact. It releases a burst of freezing cold air that damages and attempts to paralyze a group of enemies.

Ting can be learned by Dragon slime and Drag racer at level 24 and costs 30 MP to use. It has a range of two squares away from the user in any direction, inflicts moderate Crack-type martial damage and has a chance to inflict paralysis to all enemies in a plus sign-shaped area of effect.

Etymology[edit]
Ting's Japanese name, Kachikochi, is onomatopoeia for clattering or the ticking of a clock, as well as the state of being frozen or freezing stiff until hardened. It can also be written as kachikachi (かちかち).
