The archangel's robe is a rare and powerful robe for spellcasters in Dragon Quest IX. It is the second stage of the angel's robe and can be upgraded even further into the aeon's robe or the seraph's robe if an Alchemiracle is performed. Like the angel's robe, it offers protection against both elemental spells and instant death, as well as a considerable boost to the wearer's magical power. In color, it is a slightly darker shade of red than the angel’s robe, with the aeon’s robe being the darkest. The seraph’s robe is blue.
