Acid Breath is a breath attack in the Dragon Quest series. It emits a caustic exhalation of acid that burns through the Defence of enemies.

Dragon Quest X
Acid Breath is an enemy-only skill used by various powerful monsters, such as the King hydra. Although it does not cause damage, it reduces the Attack and Defence of any affected characters by two stages.
Dragon Quest Tact
Acid Breath can be learned by Killer moth at level 22 and Green glow at level 32, costing 27 MP to use. It inflicts moderate breath damage to all enemies in a range of three squares in front of it and has a chance to lower their DEF.
