The Religious nut is a monster featured exclusively in the 3DS Version of Dragon Quest VII. It is a tiny faerie priest holding a rice spoon in the place of a holy symbol.

Religious nuts are slightly stronger Epipanies, tiny blue creatures that are doing their best imitation of a human cleric. They have ditched the silver holy symbol carried in their left hands in favour of a wooden rice paddle instead. The miniature priests still wear vestments made of blue leaves and an acorn miter that obscures their eyes.
