Unallocated
The unallocated figure in the Worldwide Sales table above represents sales of Dragon Quest games that cannot be specifically attributed to any game title. This is primarily due to lack of sufficient sales data in North America, Europe, and Asia for certain titles. Until the sales data for Japan is updated, the unallocated portion has been allocated between the regions based on the percentage each has of the total sales units excluding these unallocated units, prior to the allocation. Therefore, at this time, about 93% percent of these units have been allocated to Japan, and the totals after allocation are only the best approximation of sales per region based on the available data.
